Artist's Description

If you look in the background of this painting, you'll see I first used oil paints to form an ice castle. As I continued to work on this, I added orange, blue and teal bars over it to form this unique painting. I have a video on YouTube showing how I painted it.

About Ruth Harrigan

Ruth Harrigan

Ruth Harrigan is a quadriplegic artist who creates her work with a headtracker on a computer. She is best known for her abstract works painted with original digital brushes created from photos taken around Princeton NJ where she resides. After acquiring quadriplegia in her 30’s Ruth searched for ways to create art and music. She acquired a headtracker in December 2020 and immediately began creating art and music. Her journey can best be summed up by her favorite quote: “Creativity is contagious. Pass it on.” Ruth’s art was included in the Impressions Project, a multi-arts collaborative project in 2021.
